...a brief history

From 2001, our founder and director Gary Davis has been working

in the building trade, across the South of England.

Starting off training as a roof tiler, he went on to further train in carpentry, brickwork and landscaping before setting up his previous company, Almswood Home & Garden Developments.

The company soon built up a great reputation and a large and varied customer base. Gary's eye for detail and work ethic were

key to the instant success.

Unfortunately in 2014, after a terrible accident, Gary had to park the business and concentrate on his rehabilitation.

Whilst in rehab and undertaking a supervisor role in commercial construction, he worked on numerous multi million pound contracts.

Gary trained as a Project manager, and soon combined his skills

he had learned on the tools and his new found ability to

manage larger scale, complex projects.

He then went on to work for a prestigious construction company based on the Wentworth Estate, Virginia Water. He consistently delivered high profile projects on time, under budget and to excellent standards.

His passion, quality, communication and hard work was being commended by his clients on a regular basis, who demanded his

high end finish and attention to detail.

Through the Covid 19 pandemic, Gary had to call upon his vast supply chain and procurement skills to find the materials needed to keep his large team working throughout. Maintaining the expectation of his clients and keeping within the agreed timescales of the projects.

In the Autumn of 2021, Gary decided to launch Epitome Building & Renovation Ltd. He is dedicated to provide an unrivalled service to his clients, bringing together two decades of experience with his wealth of knowledge and professional project management.
