This phase includes discussing all of the expectations from the project with our clients. We know how unsettling and intrusive building works can be, so we try our best to work with our clients to minimise disruption. We provide a full project program, Gantt chart, signing JCT contracts (if applicable) and presenting the stage payment schedule (if applicable). We create a full, tailored Health & safety file for each project, which is fully CDM compliant for the HSE. We also keep an eye on budgets to ensure the lowest costs in the current climate and work closely with the design team and local planning department, to ensure a timely start date.
Working with both our in house team and trusted subcontractors, we keep them accountable throughout the entire build. From procurement to construction, we stay focused on the goal. We issue a Plan of the week each Friday, informing our clients of who to expect on site, when they will be there and also when any scheduled deliveries are expected. We constantly monitor and control every aspect of the build as we go including quality control and end user satisfaction. We work directly with the local building control office at all stages to ensure approval and certification
After completion, we have a final walk through to ensure your complete satisfaction. On larger projects, we like our clients to keep a retention fee on completion, until we make our post completion 3 month visit to again, ensure you are still completely happy. Only then will the balance be paid.
